Booking, Payments, and Rescheduling
Booking, Payments, and Rescheduling
How Do I Start?
How do I schedule each lesson?
Each teacher has a link in their profile. Click on the link, and you can book a lesson in seconds.
How does scheduling work?
You can book single lessons or purchase a package of 5 or 10 lessons at a time. Some teachers may also offer subscriptions or discounts for packaged lessons.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel a lesson for any reason. Just be sure to do it before midnight of the teacher’s time zone.
And if I want to reschedule?
Yes! You can reschedule your lesson, as long as you cancel before midnight in your teacher’s time zone. Afterwards, rescheduling will depend on your teacher’s availability.
What if I want to stop lessons?
No problem! But before you go, we encourage you to try a free lesson with another instructor—you might find a better fit! If you still choose to stop, you’re entitled to a refund for any remaining lessons.

How Do I Start?
What is the setup like?
The online lessons replicate exactly what in-person lessons are like. Using your device, your teacher will see what you’re doing, and give you the same instructions you would have in-person. If you need to correct something, they will share their screen, and show you what you need to fix in the music.
How do learning materials work? Do I need to buy books?
Your teacher will assess your level and recommend the books you need. If you don’t have the books, they’ll share their screen so you can follow along in real-time and screenshot anything you need to remember after class. If you have questions, your teacher will guide you every step of the way!
Do you offer performance opportunities or recitals?
Absolutely! Viano students can participate in regular virtual recitals to showcase their progress. We also collaborate with local music teacher organizations to provide in-person recitals, competitions, and exams for those who want to take their skills even further.
